At Dale Mixx we are committed to sustainability to achieve a balance with the planet, while enjoying music and building a more inclusive, diverse and equitable society. Join us on this path towards a sustainable Dale Mixx.
Sustainable mobility
Through our Carpool program, we offer exclusive parking spaces for cars with five or more people. We will extend Metrorail schedules until 3:00 a.m. on August 18, so that more attendees can make use of this sustainable transportation alternative.
Water and hydration
We offer free hydration to all attendees at our hydration islands and ensure efficient use of water in our main processes.
Circular economy
Reduce is the key R of the festival; we collaborate with food concessionaires (foodtrucks and restaurants) to prioritize the use of sustainable alternatives such as compostable or cardboard/paper packaging to reduce the use of plastics.
Equity
We permanently ensure an inclusive and egalitarian context during the recruitment and selection processes for all opportunities to participate in volunteer activities within the festival.
Accessibility and inclusion
We will have reasonable accessibility adjustments to ensure a context of inclusion for all our attendees: Accessible Platforms and Restrooms, in addition to a space designed to promote mental health or White Point.
Community support
We collaborate with community support institutions to generate a positive impact on our society.
To achieve a sustainable Dale Mixx we need your support, this is why we invite you to participate in our initiatives; carpooling with your friends, moving to the festival by subway and taking your empty thermos to take advantage of the hydration islands, remember that the entry of drinks and food is prohibited and that glass thermoses are not allowed.
Sustainability does not end with the festival, we invite you to continue spreading the positive footprint in your daily life; these are some of the actions we suggest you to do:
